Please be informed that PCCI will be accepting dog registrations, membership and microchipping at the CK-9CI All-Breed Championship Dog Show at the SM City Mall in Cagayan de Oro City on June 24 & 25, 2017.

JUDGES HANDLING DOGS IN THE SHOW
Please be informed that effective June 1, 2017, a conformation judge can only handle dog that is registered under his/her name as owner or co-owner. Anyone found to have violated the said regulation will warrant a suspension. A minimum sanction will be the removal of points earned by the dog.
AMNESTY ON MEMBERSHIP DUES
Please be informed that the PCCI Board of Directors during its meeting on April 26, 2017, has approved the AMNESTY PROGRAM for members who have not been able to pay their membership dues for several years. With the amnesty program, members who have arrears on membership dues for several years will only need to pay Three Hundred Ninety Two Pesos (Php392.00) in order to have their membership updated. This amnesty program is offered up to July 31, 2017 only.
LIFETIME KENNEL NAME PROMO
Please be informed of the Standing Order of the FCI regarding KENNEL NAME as stipulated under Article 9 paragraph 1 of the standing order as quoted below:
“All members must apply to the FCI Secretariat General for the registration of new kennel names in the international FCI Kennel Name Register. A national canine organisation is allowed to apply for such registration exclusively for the breeders who have their legal residence in the country in question.”
In line with the said standing order of the FCI, the PCCI Board of Directors during its meeting on April 26, 2017 has approved a LIFETIME KENNEL NAME REGISTRATION PROMO. Members who will avail of this promotion can have their KENNEL NAME registered with the PCCI as well as with the FCI for a lifetime at a discounted rate of Two Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Five & 20/100 Pesos (Php2,475.20) only. For those with existing PCCI kennel name and would like to have it registered with the FCI, the fee is only Seven Hundred Ninety Five & 20/100 (Php795.20) Pesos.This promotion is good up to July 31, 2017.
To make sure that your kennel name will be for your exclusive use only internationally in all FCI member countries, you need to register it with the FCI thru the PCCI office.
You may check the FCI website at http://fci.be/en/affixes/ to know if your kennel name is still available.
PCCI DOGSHOW ENTRY FEES
As approved by the PCCI Board of Directors during its meeting on April 5, 2017, the new dog show entry fees of the Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (PCCI) for all its Championship or CACIB shows effective May 2017 will be as follows:
1. Regular & Champion Classes (6 months & over) - Php675.00 per show plus VAT
2. Baby Puppy (3 to under 6 months) - Php250.00 per show plus VAT
LISTING OF UNREGISTERED DOGS
Please be informed of the Standing Orders of the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) under Article 8, paragraph 4 as quoted below:
“Article 8 - Stud Books
4. In the case of dogs coming from countries which have no FCI member or contract partner or with which no agreement exists for the recognition of pedigrees, the members and contract partners as well as the breed clubs commissioned by them can, notwithstanding the above provision 2, register a dog with a non-recognised pedigree in an appendix to the studbook once this dog has been examined by a judge approved for the breed in question; its breeding, from the fourth generation, can be entered in the studbook. The same applies to dogs without any pedigree.”
In line with the said Standing Order of the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI), the Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (PCCI) is now accepting LISTING OF UNREGISTERED DOGS. As mentioned above, dog has to be examined by a judge approved for the breed in question; its breeding, from the fourth generation, can be entered in the studbook. Once approved, the dog must have a microchip identification.
Listed dogs that are already in the second generation should be mated only to a PCCI registered dog. Please click the link to download Listing Application Form
LISTING OF BREEDS NOT RECOGNIZED BY THE FCI
Please be informed that the Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (PCCI) is now offering LISTING PROGRAM for breeds that are not recognized by the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) like the following:
Dogs under the listing program will be issued with a PCCI LISTING CERTIFICATE. They are qualified to participate in all PCCI and PCCI Affiliated Clubs dog shows (championship & performance events) and can earn championship points toward its PCCI Championship Title. However, these listed dogs are not qualified to earn CACIB certificates for international championship title.
To have your dogs listed, just fill-out the Listing Application Form and pay the listing fee as prescribed by the PCCI Board of Directors. Listed dogs are required to be microchipped.
NEW COURIER SERVICE PROVIDER
Please be advised that effective April 3, 2017 the club will be using the NINJA VAN instead of LBC as courier service provider for the delivery of the PCCI documents on the following areas:
1. Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Pampanga
3. Cagayan de Oro and Davao will start on April 10, 2017.
PCCI will still be using the LBC for other areas not mentioned above.
-All the champions, grand champions and hall of fame in only one breed will be counted.
-The breeder of the year by breed with the highest ranked by points.
-The points system will be as follows:
- The points will be awarded to the owner of the primary kennel name used in registering the dog.
- There will be Top 5 National Breeder of the Year awards.
JUDGES EDUCATION SEMINARS
Please be informed that the PCCI Board of Directors has passed a resolution requiring all PCCI Judges to attend at least two (2) seminars every year as part of the judges’ development and in order to be able to have the privilege to judge the following year.

LATE REGISTRATIONS & REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF THE DOG INFORMATION
As approved by the Board of Directors in its meeting on August 17, 2016, the following will be required to be microchipped:
Taking in consideration the importance of our breeders' interest and in order to provide clear guidance to our FCI judges as well as avoiding judging malpractice, the FCI General Committee made the following decision:
Countries where a ban on showing cropped/: in this case, the laws of the country being the highest authority, there is no possibility to show, at FCI sanctioned events, cropped/docked dogs of breeds customarily cropped/docked.
Countries where no ban on showing cropped/docked dogs exists: in this case, dogs of breeds customarily docked/cropped can be shown without any restriction, whether cropped/docked or not, at FCI sanctioned events, and there cannot be any discrimination, from the judges, between cropped and non-cropped dogs and between docked and non-docked dogs.
This measure applies from the date of its publication until December 31st, 2024.
